The park is hosting a free Easter egg hunt on April 1, 2023, between 1:00 and 2:00 PM, which you’ll want to attend if you’re visiting the region with children. The hunt is for kids between the ages of one and eight, and the youngest children get to go first to ensure they come away with some prizes.
You can reach Wilcox Park in a matter of minutes if you book a vacation rental in Watch Hill or Weekapaug, making this an excellent option the week before Easter.
Easter at Ocean House
Watch Hill is home to Ocean House, an event venue with multiple restaurants, a private beach, and a large outdoor area. The facility will be hosting a few Easter events, which you can select depending on your preferences.

First, there’s the Easter Egg Roll and Hunt, which takes place on Easter Sunday, April 9, between 11:30 AM and noon. COAST restaurant also has an Easter dinner on April 9 between 4:30 and 8:00 PM. This meal is $175 for all guests, and wine pairings are available for an additional $125. The dinner will be a special four-course meal prepared by the venue’s culinary team, ensuring it’s an Easter you never forget.
Weekapaug Inn Easter Events
Weekapaug Inn is another oceanfront venue that’s worth checking out over Easter because of its various events. First, there’s an Easter egg hunt starting at 11:30 AM on Saturday, April 8. This hunt costs $15 per child and will feature various treats as your kids explore the facility’s outdoor area. Any child who discovers a golden egg will receive a special prize, as well.
Then, on April 9, The Restaurant will host a family-style Easter brunch between 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM. This meal costs $85 for adults, $39 for kids between four and 12, and is free for anyone three and under.
Brunch at The General Stanton Inn
The General Stanton Inn in Charlestown serves a Sunday brunch every week, and Easter Sunday won’t be any different. You can choose between popular menu items like their traditional bacon and egg breakfast, Johnny cakes, French toast, steak and eggs, and poached eggs to help get you going first thing in the morning.
